  • Feedback & Support: When you contact us for feedback or technical support, we collect the information you provide to respond effectively.


2. Information We Collect Automatically

  • Device & Usage Data: We collect non-identifiable technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, and general usage metrics. This helps improve performance and reliability.

  • Log Data: We record basic events like app openings, feature usage, and crashes to improve app stability.

  • Search & Organization: Cove automatically generates visual tags and metadata to make your saved memories easier to search and organize. This process is private and used only to enhance your personal experience.

  • Location Metadata: If your uploaded media includes embedded location data (e.g., from your device’s camera), Cove may store that data so you can browse memories by place.


3. Information from Optional Connections

If you choose to connect third-party services (like Apple Photos or Spotify), we may receive limited information necessary to enable that functionality — for example, a shared link, image, or file.

Cove never posts or shares to those services on your behalf without your consent.
